Arc Innovations Ltd (Arc) is a global leader in the development, deployment, and management of Advanced Meter Infrastructure (AMI) technology and services.

Arc was born out of the New Zealand energy sector and has a successful track record that spans over 14 years. Arc's latest generation AMI technology has been developed in New Zealand since 2003, building on an earlier platform used to deliver advanced metering services for over 10 years.

Arc was formed in May 2003 following the acquisition of metering technology company CIC systems and was incorporated in 2006 with an independent board. Arc is a fully owned subsidiary of Meridian Energy (www.meridianenergy.co.nz) a leading New Zealand renewable energy generation and retail utility.

With a strong history of research and development in this field, and with a significant deployment and operational track record, Arc offers real solutions, real delivery, and real experience.

In the New Zealand market, Arc has led the way in the development and operational delivery of commercially-driven AMI services. This commercially driven focus within AMI means that Arc is in a position to provide AMI solutions internationally that can be based on full commercial or non-regulatory driven business cases.
